Sharon Schaffer
1958-
Sharon Schaffer was the first African American female professional surfer in the United States. Sharon who hails from Marina Del Rey, California, is a goofy foot who primarily rides shortboards and her past sponsors include Gotcha/Girlstar Clothing, Hotline Wetsuits and Freestyle watches.
Along with her professional surfing, Sharon is an actress and stunt double, who performed stunts in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.
