Honolua Blomfield

 

Honolua Blomfield hails from Haleiwa, Hawaii. Her Hawaiian name is La’akeakaiHonolua which means “the sacred light from the sea of Honolua”. In her first 14 years she’s accomplished an exception track record.

In 2013 Honalua competed in a noseriding event at the MSA Classic Invitational in Malibu. She was the only female in the final, taking a second place. Several weeks later Honolua competed in the ISA World Longboard Championships in Peru and won the gold medal. If winning the gold wasn’t enough, she again was the only female in the Junior finals.

Honolua surfs both long and shortoard. Her goal is to become a world champion. Along with surfing, she enjoys skateboarding, motocross, jiu jitsu, tennis, Hula and soccer. -HWS
